Consumer Redressal

On 4th January, 2015 we purchased one cycle along with air pump of Rs 150 from NEETA NOVELTY CYCLE SHOPPEE. The shopkeeper didnot check ed the air pump at that time & given to us. After 2 -3 days at the time of filling air in the cycle tyre, we found that the air pump is defective as the air was getting leaked from it.So again on next SUnday i.e. yesterday on 11.01.15 , I went to the Retailer to get it exchanged and repaired, he was very rude that there is no guarantee of the air pump & to throw it away. I told him to just get it checked from boys from where the air is getting leaked so that it can be repaired, the retailer was very rude and told that his boys would not know that. After requesting him for the third time, he told his repairing boy to check , but the piece was faulty.Its not just the matter of Rs. 150, but the matter of Right or wrong. The retailers should take the responsilibility if any goods are found to be faulty at home or they should check & give at the tim of buyi
