Complaint #9579 — Praveen Yadav

Filed: 7 Jan 2015  ·  Address: Gurgaon
Hi, I took a education loan in June 2009 from Sarva Haryana Grameen bank, sikanderpur branch. As per their loan policy if you go for a loan of 7.50 lakhs you are not required to submit any collateral but they asked us to do so. Secondly they did not told us about the interest waiver scheme by government of India and without any proof showed my father's income more than 4 lpa. Hence made me pay the entire interest on loan till date where i could have saved that money since my father's income is not that. And when in 2013 i got to know about the government scheme and approached bank they told us now nothing can be done. Please help and advice me.
