Consumer Redressal

I am submitting this complaint on behalf of our Housemaid Ms Urmila Hambre. She purchased a 190L refrigerator Model CRAR0180 vide Invoice No.SLT02A009030053050 dated 09-02-2013 from Croma Store, Belapur, Navi Mumbai after making payment of Rs. 11290/-. The fridge is under warranty for 4 years. There was malfunctioning of its door in June 2013. After lodging the complaint, the door was repaired. Again, in the month of November 2014, the door got detached from the body of the fridge. A complaint was made in this regard on the 17th November 2014. Their technician inspected the fridge on 20th November and informed that the door needs to be replaced and it would take 15 days to replace the same. Thereafter, nobody has turned up to replace the door. A fresh complaint was lodged with their Call Centre on 17th December 2014. However, despite my follow up with them by telephonic calls, emails and personal visit to their store on 27th Dec. no concrete action has been taken by them.
