Consumer Redressal

Electricity bill (EC-41-0101) went up-to 23586 units in the month of July 2014.. Average reading for past one year of our bill was 6500-7000 units. Even after July 2014 our unit maintained its average pace. After requesting the department to adjust the amount as per the average reading in past or in upcoming months nobody bothered. More over we were forced to pay amount of 1,89,615 Rs for no reason. We went to the department and filed a the complained twice (22.07.2014, 25.07.2014 & 27.10.2014) that our meter is miss behaving and how can suddenly meter shoot up the units just for a month when the load is consistent. Nobody attended our problem even after requesting all the authorities multiple times. After four month SDO (9540954925), Mr. Suriender (9540940088) came and changed the meter. After changing the meter they promised us that they will sort out the issue and will adjust the bill amount. Now the electricity department have sent extra dues of 94,216 Rs (to be submitted with in 7
