Consumer Redressal

I had received a letter from Advocate Sudip Banerjee of High Court on 19th November 2014 about Non Payment of outstanding amount of the mobile number 9804049422 which I have never used. The letter states that I had approached M/s Vodafone East India Limited, 11, Dr. U. N. Brahmachari Street Kol - 17 for the connection. I had never approached the agency for any such connection. Also the letter states that I had received bills and invoices for the above mentioned number. When I mailed Vodafone Customer Care,they replied that my email id is not registered against that number. I clarified the above fact and asked to see the documents submitted while subscribing to the number in my second mail while stating that I had filed a general diary with Dum Dum Police Station. I have received no reply from Vodafone even though they have acknowledged my mail and assured to reply within two days.Therefore I would like to file a complaint against Vodafone and get the matter sorted.
