Consumer Redressal

I served VSoft Technologies PVT Ltd. Hyderabad. To my dismay all staff have come to know that the company defaulted in depositing employee as well as employer contribution. I would want to lodge a complaint against EPFO for allowing acts of negligence against the company. Moreover, I do not find the company listed in the defaulters list. Claim forms submitted were rejected. As per Miscellaneous Provisions Act the EPFO department has to take necessary steps to keep the employees' accounts up to date. It is not even clear even if the account is settled at later date, whether I have to forego interest that was to be accumulated if the amounts were deposited on time. We are group of employees who are keen to see that the culprit is penalized as per relevant provisions of law.
