Dear Sir,
I am an NRI customer.
• I booked and apartment in January 2008 at Puri Pranayam, Faridabad under construction linked plan.
• Buyer agreement was signed in June 2008 with a promise to hand over the apartment in 36 months with a grace period of 6 months (42 months in total).
• The aforesaid period of 42 months ended in December 2011.
• I have made all payments on time and paid 100% of value.
• Possession was offered in January 2013.
• Company officials kept assuring that delay compensation would be settled at the end. All such assurances were verbal while they avoided giving any written assurance.
• The company is now refusing to compensate for delay (approximately 13 months)
Please advise me on the above matter.
