Consumer Redressal

at 9:30 AM, we had purchased 31.65ltrs of petrol from Shantanu CarFil in Patuli(Address given below). From there, we had gone to Golpark area, when all of a sudden, our engine refused to ignite. Mechanics from 2 garages surmised that it was due to petrol mixed with large amount of water. The mechanics then suctioned out nearly 25ltrs of petrol ( in cans bought right then for this purpose only)and put in fresh petrol from a nearby petrol pump. The car started immediately after that. When confronted, Shantanu CarFil refused to accept that petrol is adulterated, even when the WaterTest clearly showed presence of water in petrol. The chemical turned red on both the occassions- when dipped in our canned petrol, and when dipped in their own reservoir. Please look into the matter for a speedy redressal of our grievance.
