Most of the parts of the West Anand Bagh & its surroundings, the ground water level has gone down drastically. Digging of bore wells 500 to 1000 feet is going on for the past few months. especially in Hanuman Temple, Bhavani Super Market Lanes. The concerned dept.is giving permission without looking into problems faced by the other residents. Action is to be taken against the official who are giving permission for drilling bore wells.Taking serious note of depleting ground water level, request the district collector to immediately impose ban on drilling bore wells and seize bore wells which were dug above 400 ft in the past few weeks especially in Hanuman Temple, Bhavani Super Market Lanes or else will be brought to the notice of Consumer Forum.
