Consumer Redressal

I bought 4 nos of car tyres for my car TATA MANJA from an authorized dealer of ‘APOLLO Tyres’ at Kharagpur , West Bengal. Running after 12000 Km 2 of the tyres became de/ shaped (swelled at some area like a balloon) and started giving a continuous jerk/ bumps while running the vehicle. I talked to the dealer. He advised me to take it to the Apollo service center at Medinipur, West Bengal, which is around 20 Km away from the dealer point. I did the same. After necessary test and analysis the representative of Apollo Tyre service centre confirmed it as manufacturing defect and asked me to pay Rs 1700 for replacement of each Tyre. I find the same unreasonable and refused to accept since I believe the Tyre should run at least 50000 km. I tried to communicate the same to Apollo management but no response yet I received. Look forward to your kind assistance for a reasonable solution.
