Consumer Redressal

Hello, I booked Rajmahal Hotel in Chikamagalur for 9th June 2014 for 1 day over the phone.However i was not able to go due to some unforseen cicumstances. Now hotel guy is asking me for money and harassing me and he has flied a police complaint against me.A notice has also come to me from chikamagalur to Bangalore police stating that i booked hotel and did not come. I am ready to pay some amount and resolve the issue still police people are saying that i need to comechikmagalur to resolve the issue. The police is also saying that they will launch FIR if i dont come to chikmagalur. I am sacred to go to chikmagalur as i feel they will create unnecessary issues. Please help.I am ready to resolve issue by paying some amount. Thanks
