Consumer Redressal

I purchased Panasonic Inverter Split AC machine 1.5Ton on 4May14 from Sales Emporium, Nagerbazar. From very 1st day we observed screeching and humming noise sound. On complaining Panasonic technicians made 3 visits who made various trials but of no result. On 4th visit technician Gautam Mandal suggested change in bush. They took 1½ months to change the bush, but problem remained. Next service branch manager RK Jana visited and suggested to change a motor. I objected and suggested to replace the mchine and take out the defective one to factory and repair there. Mr. Jana was reluctant and said actually is a minor thing and not a problem, hence no repairing is required. It was very surprising to me. They said this noise is very common in all Panasonic machine. I challenged this and asked them to visit my brother’s residence, who purchased same Panasonic Split AC 2T which is making no noise. They did not visit. Next, they sent mail that as per service branch report there is no problem and hence they are closing the chapter. Panasonic is no more giving support and is not accepting that there is problem, may be to avoid further expense on this account. I’m in trouble and donot know who to approach for help.
