i applied for passport for my wife and i received the passport but after receive the passport i find that the passport was damaged and also there is also a spelling mistake in the name of father of the applicant. i immediately contacted to the concerned passport seva kendre jammu but they denied there mistake and telling that you should not receiv the damaged passport. they are telling that we have to apply for reissue of passport under damage category which cost Rs 3000 . but i am not responsible for such damage so it is not justice to impose such penalty. can you please guide me what i should do and can your team help me in this regard. i am quit hopeful that you at least understand my problem. the details of the passport is as below- Name of Applicant: AFSHA ARIF File Number: JM1067683137614 Local Passport office name: Avquaf Market, Gandhi Nagar, jammu
