Consumer Redressal

On 8-12-2012, I have purchased a EXIDE- InverTubular IT 500(Batch No: 3XD, Serial No. 003737) from Manickam Battery works, No: 2/31 B, Main Road Pammam, Marthandam-629165, K.K District. The company assured a minimum replacement warranty of 36 months for the product. On 26-4-2014 i found that battery is not in working condition. Regarding that I complaint to the dealer (Manickam Battery works, Marthandam). On 27-4-2014 the dealer came for service and during service time the dealer itself has broken one of the terminals of the battery and said that the battery is not working due to over voltage and insisted us to bring the product to the shop. On 28-4-2014, I took the battery to the shop the person from the shop said that terminal got broken and it will be rectified after soldering and done soldering process and returned the battery to me. But according to me the terminal was broken by the dealer. According to the EXIDE company terms in warranty card they have to replace the battery but
