Sir / Madam, With due respect this is to inform you that we are the Tenants of ‘L B Chember / Oswal Holding ’ situated at 2, Church Lane, Old Building, Kolkata-700 001. Our Land Lord has not taken any action whatsoever regarding the maintenance of building due to which rainwater is seeping from the roof of the building and the common passage of the building is getting spoilt along with the offices including the documents and various machineries. The Land Lord has not provided any common latrine and toilet for the tenants and is also denying for the same. The ladies are having difficulty when they come to the office due to the lack of proper toilet and latrine. The Land Lord has provided an open toilet on the ground floor but it is not in a proper condition and is a ground for flies and the insects and is spreading pollution. The land lord has dumped rubbish and also many of wood which are lying idle on the roof. It is stated by us that the facilities of water, toilet and latrine are essential in daily life. Therefore, our demand for the same is lawful. Any time an accident may take place due to the Land Lord’s negligence behavior. We have intimated the land lord several times, verbally and in writing, to provide us better facilities and also to repair the building but it has always gone on deaf ears. No steps have been taken by the land lord at all. In these circumstances we want to draw your kind notice for above problems.
