I have purchased a handycam of Sony make bearing No: 22762993 from Metro Cash and Carry India Pvt Ltd Yashvantpur Banglore on 08-06-2012 which had a warranty for 3 years. After usage of few days a defect was noticed in handycam which was immediately brought to the notice of the Metro. And on 14-08-2013 the handycam was sent for repair under repair note S.No:10/1105 to the metro. And after deposit of the handycam they informed that after 15 days it will be repaired and sent. Inspite of lapse of more than 20 days I was forced to go personally from Yadgir to Banglore twice. And after repeated request though it was a manufacturing defect the Metro is claiming Rs 1500/- which I am not supposed to pay. As a result my handycam is withheld by them. This negligent attitude coupled with lack of service has resulted in mental agony as well as monetary loss to me, which I am to claim from the metro.
