Frequent & erratic power outages. Frequent & erratic power outages. Dear Concerned, This is to bring to your notice regarding the erratic and frequent power cuts in Kariyanapalaya, Bangalore from the last one month after the temperatures in Bangalore have soared to an alarming 37 degrees. I have lodged several complaints with the BESCOM authorities but to no avail. In fact after making series of complain the problem seems to have escalated beyond a level of tolerance. Every time a person from the customer service desk puts up with an excuse that there is some maintenance work going on in the grid station or power surge due to less production or some feeder maintenance work in progress. All of the above excuses can be accepted in some of the instances but not every time. In fact in the last two to three weeks we are experiencing power outages at least 4-5 times a day for a span of 1 hr each. Day times have become a common chore, however sometimes in the wee hours of the night
