Consumer Redressal

This with regards to the 2014 New year eve party organised by Mokshiva Entertainment(Goregaon) in Renaissance,Powai Mumbai. I had purchased the 9 tickets (4 couples- INR 4800/couple ,1 Stag - INR 2750/-) paying INR 21950 from the organisers directly. The person from Mokshiva, Asif Qureshi, had confirmed that only limited seats will be sold out and there will unlimited alcohol, 10 course meal food. Starters will be served till 1 am. But when we reached the venue the event was a disaster in all manners…absolutely disoragnised!! People were fighting at the entrance for getting passes. Inside it was a nightmare; people were all over the bar counters fighting for alcohol. Starters got over by 10.30 pm. The place was so overcrowded it was difficult to move around. Security which plays a very important role during such events was so slack, around 11 pm people who did not have passes started walking in to the event. The dance floor was in a complete mess with food spilled all over and broken plates and bottles scattered around. People were frustrated as they didn\'t get anything to eat or drink despite paying big bucks. The party which was private became public. The situation got worse when a bottle-throwing brawl started between the crowds and the bartenders. The music was stopped by 11 45pm.. The party was over before midnight. We have been cheated . This is in newspaper too.
