Consumer Redressal

I had joined the Wellness Associates Gym Juhu in October 2012 for a period of 1 year by paying Rs. 8500. The gym closed in between in March and I got a call that they would refund the money in the last week of March 2013. When I and my friend who had also joined the gym alongwith me went for the refund on March 30, they had already left the premises without any contact details. I tried calling them on the numbers mentioned on the payment receipt, but nobody picked up our calls for the next few days. Then somehow we found their office at Andheri and approached them 3 months back wherein they told us that they had closed their books and can\'t refund any amount now. Since then I have been trying to get my refund back, but they simply refuse to give stating this reason that they have closed their books. I want to take action against them. Please help.
