Consumer Redressal

I have purchased one 8kg front loading washing Machine and one 330 ltr Refrigerator both are Godrej made,from Great Eastern Retail Company, Uttarpara on 11/08/24vide Inv.No. UTP/SA2425/02859 ,Dt. 11-08-2024. Both thr products delivered at my residence on 14.08.24,A person from godrej come to residence for demonstrate, and he just break the seal of refrigerator but instructed us not to plug the fridge, plug after 4 hours and then wait for another 2 hours then insert food and beverages, but he denies to open washing Machine on that day. On 18.08.24 the same person came to my residence to unbox the said washing Machine, after unboxing he found the machine was defective and not fit for work,he immediately take action for Replacement of the same and booked his call under ref no 293741 dt 18.08.24,and he assured us that it will be replaced within 10 days. After that we didn’t get any mail from godrej or any kind of communication, later on 26.08.24 i have visited Great Eastern Retail Uttarpara for information, Mr Rajeev the sales personal confirmed me that it will be delivered on 29.08.24 without fail. Today 29.08.24, once again i have started to contact godrej service centre and great eastern, but both are not picking my phone calls, later i havs decided to call toll free no, after 9 min of talking with the executive he didn’t show the light. I have made one written complain to godrej customers care and great eastern customer care,still there is no reply. After 2 pm i have received one call from the sales personal Rajeev for assurances of delivery after a hot discussion and pressure from my side that they will deliver it on 30.08.24. I am not sure about their commitment. After paying full should i deserve this kind service from a renowned company and retail store. I need compensations.
