Consumer Redressal

Me and my husband are both senior citizen and my husband is retired. We live in Prabhu Prem Puram, Ambala Cantt. Recently we were shocked when we receive our electricity bill of Rs. 75000+ with 10000 units used. Our average bill was always between Rs. 1500 to Rs. 4000 varying by seasons. However, This bill does not seems correct. When we approached Area SDO, he mentioned to submit the payment asap instead of actually rectifying the issue. We always submitted our bill on time and this is completely unfair. As my husband is retired, it is really difficult to pay such an huge amount. It is already causing a lot of mental Stress to both of us. Local staff is not helping at all. I beg you to please help us in getting it corrected.
