Sub: Legal Notice for restoring the electricity connection with emmediate effect. Sir, Under the instructions from and on behalf of my client Sh. Sachin Sharma Proprietor of M/S Saroj Café at near Jain College, G.T. Road, Ganaur, Tehsil Ganaur, Distt. Sonipat, I have the honour to serve you with the following legal notice:- 1. That my client running a café in the name and style of M/S Saroj Café situated at near Jain College, G.T. Road, Ganaur, Tehsil Ganaur, Distt. Sonipat. 2. That my client took the building of the above said café on rent from Jayant Batra R/o H.No.216, Sector-21C, Faridabad for the period from 20.12.2020 to 19.12.2022 for running his business and the said period of rent agreement will be increased on the consent of both the parties to the agreement. 3. That in the month of January 2021, my client got a Non domestic category electricity connection vide new account No.5350593906 with sanctioned load of 7.5 KW from your department after accomplishing all the formalities in the name of my client and the said connection was issued at the aforesaid cafe address. My client is making the payment of consumption bills regularly without any default. 4. That my client had already paid previous bills of Rs.20199/- on dated 18.08.2021 vide transaction ID 125572920. My client received bill for the period from 25-06-2021 to 29-08-2021 of Rs.20723 payable on 08.09.2021. But you addressee No.1 wrongly and illegally disconnected the electricity connection of my client on 20.08.2021 for which you have no right to do the same. Due to disconnect the supply of electricity of the café, on the same day, approx. Rs.80,000/- loss was done to my client because the material which is used in the café like milk, cheese, curd, Mava, vegetables, sweets etc. are required electricity to keep them in cooling place. Due to your illegal act aforesaid, my client suffer Rs.20,000/- per day from the day of disconnect the electricity supply of the café of my client. 5. That no notice was ever been served upon my client regarding the disconnection of electricity supply of the café of my client. You did not inform prior disconnect the electricity supply of my client’s café. It is pertinent to mention here that the date of pay the bill is 08.09.2021 and my client was/is ready to deposit the same before due date of the bill. But you addressee No.1 arbitrarily, illegally and forcibly disconnected the supply of electricity without any cause and reason. 6. That due to your illegal and wrong work aforesaid, my client suffer a great loss of Rs.3,60,000/- till 04.09.2021 which is the result of your negligency of addressee No.1 and as the you addressee No.1 is working under the supervision of addressee No.2 & 3, so you all the addressees are liable to pay the loss of my client. Hence, through this legal notice, I hereby call upon you all the addresses to restore the electricity connection of my client’s café immediately after receiving this notice and you are liable to pay Rs.3,60,000/- up to the date 03.04.2021 and you are also liable to pay the loss amount of my client @ Rs.20,000/- per day after 04.09.2021 till the day of restoration of electricity supply/connection of my client’s cafe within 15 days of receipt of this legal notice, failing which, my client shall be constrained to initiate legal proceedings against you in a competent court of law having jurisdiction and you shall be liable for all costs and risks incurred by my client.
