Consumer Redressal

Purchased a Dining Table set of Teak wood worth Rs. 40,000/- in the month of February, 2021 from Himalaya Furnitures, Banaswasi, Bengaluru, Karnataka. The day they delivered the product that is on 6th February, we informed the store that while delivering the polish from the table top from one side has come out and to send someone to deal with it. No show from the store even after calling their representatives at the store, no response from the store even after repetitive follow ups for the issue. We visited the store to place the complaint which was duly noted by their Complaint redressal authority. But there was no action taken on their behalf for another month. Now the table wood has started cracking from the joints. Such pathetic quality of the product and their redressal service is pathetic. Can't say what kind of management system they have but its the worst I have experienced so far. All I want now is to get my entire money refunded and get rid of the poor quality furniture. Never thought I'd be investing money to buy some mental harassments.
