Consumer Redressal

I've booked a ticket for my nephew Joshi Chanukya Kommu through Flipkart with Etihad Airlines with Booking ID FF20122511458247 and PNR QDHSIK to travel on 01/01/2021 from Toronto to Hyderabad. The flight got cancelled due to Covid restrictions and the passenger was not informed until he reached the airport and neither airlines nor the flipkart teams are bothered to even inform the passenger about the cancellation in advance that lead to last minute havoc, physical and mental stress and financial loss to rebook on a different airlines at a higher cost. This is totally due to negligence from both the parties and flipkart didn't even initiate the refund even after multiple calls. They kept on saying some or the other reason every time I call them and not providing any proper resolution which is giving mental pressure. Request your help and intervention.
