Complaint #32032 — Santosh Rawat
Filed: 4 Jun 2020 ·
Address: 2 Cameron Street, Farrer, ACT 2607, Australia
We booked our Delhi - Leh trip in Jan 2020 under PNR H9LW4M. And we're travelling all the way from Australia to India. Now in light of COViD19 restrictions, none of us able to travel to India (as per DGCA suspension of scheduled international commercial passenger flights will continue till midnight on June 30).
I have written to SpiceJet on multiple occasions (and the no. of times I have tried to call them) and to multiple email addresses (Customer relations, Nodal Officer and Appeals) to cancel our Delhi-Leh flights and process the refund. But till date have not received a single response.
I requested for a refund as credit shell does not work for us, as I don't have plans to visit India in near future and it's unlikely that I'll travel with all the guests in the original PNR.
As per DGCA directive, the money should be refunded if flights are cancelled because of COViD 19.
Kindly request you to arrange for refund from SpiceJet Airlines.
