I have booked tickets from Spicejet, IndiaGo, GoAir on different dates and different sectos for each time the previous was cancelled, hoping that next schedule would fly. Obviously and needless to repeat the same complaint by me as well as was done by lot many others about refund policy of Credit Shell. Now i want FULL REFUND, irrespective DGCA, guidelines and irectives etc, they are saying, which are practically INJUSTICE.
1. we purchased a ticket for performance of a service which is a Contract
2. The Performance was NOT done. So contract is not executed.
3. So, we want our money back, simple. Irrespective of Force majeure circumstances etc. etc. Even if one say its force majeure, in such condition i think no Compnesation is requested. But we are not asking COMPENSATION, just OUR MONEY back. Thats it.
More over, there is a fundamental flws in refund policies in airline ticket refunds. The questions to be answered with LOGICAL reason:
1. Why some tickets are refundable and some are not?
2. Why the cancellation charges are so high?
i cannot write many other logical questions..
but my point is,
why not the cancellation policy is like a simple system may be as Railway ticket cancellation
within so much time so much refund will be given and this will be given under different slabs?
In railway even if we cannot perform journey, by any reason, even then we have anoption to file claim for refund. but nothing in air ticket. FORGET IT.
I stringly suggest all the sufferers should file a case legally and set right this looting our money. Lot of money got stuck-up in credit shell, ooh yes. By the way I ABSOLUTELY DONT HAVE ANY PLANS to travel in India for next 1 year, as i am not staying in India. Even then they are not willing to refund. They say DGCA directive.
My question is why some one else higher authorities should come and say to refund my OWN MONEY, when you took my money and the flight got Cancelled???? million dollar question..
