Consumer Redressal

Dear Sir/madam I would like to bring your kind attention that we are facing a problem of refund issue of domestic flight ticket due to lock down . I am residing at Delhi and I booked flight ticket to Cochin on 17/3/2020 ( Spice jet) and the travelling date was on 17/5/2020 for the annual school vacation of our children .Due to extended lock down in India the said flight is cancelled but the airline is not refunding the booking amount and they are telling " your booking amount is safe on our credit shell and you can travel up to 31/3/2021" with the price variation . This date is not convenient to us as you aware the annual /summer vacation in Delhi NCR will be started in mid of May and the above mentioned time period is not at all suitable for us. This type of issue is happening to not only me but those who are planned to go for their annual vacation.My humble request to you is do the needful for getting this issue in front of relevant authority and get our money return.I lost my job since last 2,3 months and this amount will be a big help for me.
