We purchased a ticket from Indigo airlines.Our return from Colombo to Chennai was on 13th march 2020.Unfortunately 8 hours before our scheduled departure from Colombo airport the airline intimated us via email that our flight had been cancelled.They didnt provide us any alternate options for return and we had to return Chennai airport after instant booking of tickets from other airlines and that too at a hefty price.Indigo airlines declined our repeated requests for refund of fare against that cancelled flight.
