Consumer Redressal

Dear Sir/ Madam, I had given a Saree to the laundry to get it washed. The laundry did not return it to me stating that \"it could not be found\". The Saree coat me around Rs. 4000. However the laundry is telling me that \"it is willing to pay me only Rs. 400 since that is the maximum they provide as remuneration.\" Since the Saree was in splendid condition i did not accept the \"Rs. 400\" and the shopkeeper threatened me to go to any \'Consumer forum\" or \"Police Station\" i might but he wouldn\'t pay me more than Rs. 400. I am sure he has sold the Saree some where else.
