My Mother (87) wanted to make some F.D .investments so that the quarterly interest of the total amount be deposited in her SB A/c No 04691570008028 which he opened in her name making us the 2nd and 3rd holders.No intimation from the Bank about the opening Balance was given to us.Reason Unknown.When asked Subhasis said every thing will be taken care of by him in due course which never happened. 3) Next Subhasis makes us sign 2 forms for HDFC Life to invest1 Lac each in the names Mallika Mitra and Manjari Mitra ie 2 lacs in total. Promising to multiply the money in 5 years time. But the details the scheme and the hidden cost for paying the yearly premium were never disclosed. He duped us into this Tax Saving Scheme.Reason Unknown. 4) Next he opens 2 Single Accounts in our respective names A/c No Mallika Mitra 04691930007558 Manjari Mitra 04691930007531 of which no statement was provided by the bank. Reason Unknown.This came to our knowldge only recently after lodging a complaint with the present bank manager. 5) Later Subhasis opens 2 R.D. A/c in our respective namesnames with out consulting us about the amount to be deposited in those A/C no04697850010741 and 04697850010724 No statement from the bank was given reason unknown. 6) Subhasis opens a D MAT A/C in Mallika Mitra\'s name with out my consent. Reason Unkown. 7) Next about the F.D of Ratna Mitra, substantial amount was mishandled and deposited in Term Deposit Scheme insstead of quarterly interest scheme.This also with out consulting us. Then another substantial amount given for F.D. investment was broken into small fragments with out our consent .Even after repeated request to him the bank never provided us with any F.D. certificates.According to him 16.5 Lacs have been deposited in F.Ds.Later after complaining to the manager I was given F.D. certificates worth 10.5 lLacs. In between he makes frequent visit at odd hours and made us withdraw cash from other ATMs apart from HDFC ATM counter. to be deposited in subsequent F.D. for senior citizen. When asked why not withdraw the cash from Ratna Mitra\'s SB A/c he gave lame excuse of sysem failure. Reason Unknown. 8) Suddenly I find to my utter surprise all my single A/c s were merged and closed. I have no track of the money left in those A/C. Again he merges the the joint A/c of Mallika Mitra04691000069865 with Manjari Mtra\'s A/C 04691000069855. We dont have any statement of the merger or closure from the Bank.Reason Unkown. We are totally unaware and clue less about the money deposited in these accounts.At present we are left with 0 balance in both the accounts.Keeping us in the dark about the\\ withdrawals he made through ECS by linking our account with Ratna Mitras A/ C with out our knowledge. 9) After a lot of coaxing he promised to hand over the papers after preparing a portfolio for Tax Submission which he never gave.. 10) We are thoroughly disgusted with the Banking services of HDFC Bhawanipur and Subhasis Chakraborty. I Request you to look into the matter and help me out of this critical situation and redress the problem immediatly. 11) I Demand Immediate Closure of H.D.F.C Life and the ECS Link and revert the entire sum to our respective Savings Bank A/C. Since I am stripped of all the cash from all the SB A/Cs 12) I Demand Breaking of All the F.D.s of Ratna Mitra and revert the entire Sum to her SB A/C If immediate redressal is not provided I would send a letter of Complaint against your Bank to RBI,Police Department and the concerned authorities. We have provided the required facts for you perusal. An Early redressal will be much appreciated.
