My Split AC Model No AS185BSDNSTL has got its condenser leaked within a span of 2 year due to corrosion since this condenser consist of parts made of aluminium to save electricity (for Five star rating). As climate in Mumbai is corrosive and damp , it is bound to be corroded as the condenser is in outdoor unit of split AC. Hence this is a serious fault with Samsung design/material. It is bound to get leaked again very soon as they don\'t have solution to this problem. Also I have come to know from other customers that it is a quite common problem with SAMSUNG Five Star ACs. You will appreciate that spending such high cost within short time interval (due to a faulty design) will not do good to SAMSUNG ACs market. I therefore wrote to them in my mails that it was not fair to charge the high cost of condenser and gas refill for no fault of mine. Why customers be penalised for no fault of theirs? They charged Rs 4350 for this repair which is quite unfair. Dr Gupta
