Consumer Redressal

I have given a handmade Madhubani painting (22X34 inches) to Sharad (08286125899) on 14th June'15 to put it into a glass frame. I have also explained to take care of the painting as it was rare and expensive. The art if created on silk cloth and handmade colors are used for painting. The day when delivery was promised I received a call from Sharad that the person carrying the painting met with an accident and the painting is lost. On my insisting on seeing the torn painting, he placed another story that the painting was lost in transit He further asked me to provide a similar painting which he would recreate through his links and then share with me, after following up with him multiple times he didn't do so. He successfully stalled me for over a month Finally I asked him to pay Rs. 10,000 as a compensation against the painting. To which he confirmed that he would talk to his manager / shop owner and confirm. Now he is not even picking my calls as of today (3rd Aug'15) Pls resolve
