I am a retired Sr. Executive from a large PSU. I have opened Sr.Citizen Saving Scheme in SBI, Gomtinagar branch. After 5 years, when I wanted extension for another 3 years, as per rule of the scheme, they refused to extend. They are even refusing to open new account under Sr. Citizen Saving Scheme (2004), which gives good interest to a retired person. Pl. let me know how to go about in this matter.
