Consumer Redressal

I had bought a pension plan from hdfc standard life in dec 2010 at monthly paymt of 2000 rs paid till 2012 dec ...in april 2013 i was diagnosed with breast cancer and could not make payment...now when i conracted them i was told the policy was lapsed terminated ..my amount was 58000 but i would be returned only 23527 rs...i was told that request for payment was made in 2013 but i cd nt recieve it due to my medical status...sir i wd obliged if atleast my deposited amt is returned to me....they talk about handling charges ...my money kept wid dem did not increase but is it fair that it depriciated? Pl help.....
