Consumer Redressal

I had purchased the furniture of the value approximately Rs 90,000/-, including a "Bed" from Home Town Express, City Centre Mall, Pandri. At the time of assembling the bed, it was revealed by their technician that the Headboard has been broken at two places during transport (arranged by themselves),when I objected the technician talked to his store manager and likewise assured me that"let me get it assembled, my manager has ensured me that we will get it (the broken part) replaced within a week's time positively". But now their response has changed and they are insisting me to get the same repaired and are not serious about my problem. It's a costly item, why should I accept the damaged one when I have paid such a handsome amount for it. You are requested to kindly take up the issue with the Home Town Furniture Shop at City Centre Mall, Pandri to get the affected part replaced as soon as possible. Thanking you.
