Consumer Redressal

I had purchased a NOKIA XL-Cyan-1.2 Nokia354258060590151throogh ebay India Pvt. Ltd. against Order No37146940449Rajkumar 69109937875 vide invoice dated 21/Aug/2014 14:48:21 costing Rs.9352.00 with one year warranty i.e up 21st, Aug,2015.But unfortunately this phone all of sudden had switched off automatically and did not reopen. I went to the customer care centre and narrated all story and this phone was given to service manager for 28.05.2015. After sometime service manager told that off/on switch found not working and required to be replaced with the cost. I want to know then what is the use of issuing the warrantee. It is requested either this piece of Phone may be replaced or get it repaired free of cost otherwise the matter will be handed over to the Consumer Tribunal.
