Complaint #12878 — Saurabh Khandelwal

Filed: 18 May 2015  ·  Address: Yogi Nagar, Borivali West, Mumbai
Sir, I have subscribed to Vodafone corporate plan and from last 1 year i was using it without any problems. However, i found that this month my post paid bill amount was increased from an average bill of 450 to 1300 Rs. Initially, when i subscribed to the plan of Rs 375, i was told that no extra money will be charged if internet is used excessively, however, speed will be decreased from 3G to 2G. But when i inquired about the current bill, i came to know that my plan was changed to some other plan where internet was not free after certain download limit. I was also told that Vodafone had messaged me regarding this intimation. My point is, how can Vodafone change my mobile postpaid plan without asking for my acceptance. This is a fraud. This is cheating. If my plan was to be changed, my permission had to be first sought telephonically like most other operators do. Just by sending a message and that too with inappropriate information about the new applicable charges amounts to FRAUD
