Consumer Redressal

Dear Team, I have sent a package to my friend from Safdarjung Enclave S.O-110029 Delhi to Mizoram on 7th May 2013 by SPEED POST. My friend received the package on 14th May but all the items inside the package were gone/stolen. It was still nicely wrapped when she collected it from the Post Office Aizawl Mizoram but all items inside were gone. I believe this is robbery. I also come to know that missing items/packages happens alot. They are breaking the bond of trust and i believe something has to be done. The items inside the package are: One Puma Shoe worth Rs 3299, One bed sheet worth Rs 500 and One envelope carrying Rs 350 inside. I have complained this to the post-office but it seems like i won\'t get back anything. Even if i don\'t get back the Items, i want to get back, at least, something worth the amount of what I\'ve loss. I bought them with all i have. My package tracking no is ED 874519470 IN and my complaint no is 100053-74243. I just don\'t know what to do. Please help me
