Sir, I have sent a registered parcel containing food articles,clothes,sweets by India Post vide CP331735889IN to Germany on 19 Dec 2012 by paying the postal charges of Rs.3126/- This parcel has come back without delivery to India on 2 April 2013.The reason for non- delivery is \"Addressee cannot be located\". To take the undelivered parcel I have to pay Rs.4016 which is rejected due to the deterioration of sweets, food articles as this parcel has returned after 3 months.The reason-\"Addressee cannot be located\" is not true as the local delivery agency at Germany is DHL has already delivered the another parcel to the same address for which documentary evidence is available. In this aspect I have lodged a complaint on 26 March 2013 with GPO, Bangalore for the compensation of Rs.25000/-for the loss of my food articles and other items India post has failed to deliver the parcel to the addressee at Germany even after paying the required parcel cost.
